Catapult Product Development, a medical device design firm, has been invited to participate in the Oversight Committee for the Boston University Coulter Translational Partnership (BUCTP) Awards Program. The Coulter Oversight Committee is currently evaluating funding proposals for 2013.
Each year, the Wallace H. Coulter Translational Research Partnership Awards selects several recipients for a prestigious research grant to be used in biomedical engineering projects. Projects selected must focus on technical innovations to improve patient care.
Boston University faculty and staff selected to advance to the oral presentation stage of the selection process will give a brief oral presentation to the Coulter Oversight Committee before June 19, 2013. Grant winners will be selected from this final group.
Joe Ting, Co-Founder of Catapult said, “We are pleased and honored to be a part of this process. The Coulter Award Program is highly focused on providing research grants to staff members whose work will directly benefit patients and create a significant impact in advancing healthcare. As advocates of disruptive medical device technologies, this is something we at Catapult can really get behind.”
